O secretariado executivo é uma profissão polivalente, que agrega funções múltiplas. A seguinte pesquisa trata de uma dessas funções: a organização de arquivos, com enfoque na área contábil, fruto do estágio realizado em um escritório especializado, no qual se constatou um problema em relação ao seu atual modelo de arquivo. A relevância desta pesquisa se dá pelo fato de que, quando uma organização de arquivos é feita de maneira incorreta, ela pode interferir na situação da empresa e acarretar atraso ou até perda negócios. A partir de então, foi possível alcançar o objetivo geral da pesquisa, que era o de analisar os arquivos da empresa, em seu modelo atual e, na sequência, apresentar sugestão de melhoria para o sistema de arquivamento da empresa.
